privacy policy

last updated: May 29, 2026

the short version

We collect the bare minimum to ship you a shirt and let your friends buy one too. We don't sell your data. We use Stripe for payments and Printful for fulfillment — they have their own privacy policies that also apply.

what we collect

  • Account: your Google sign-in (email, name, profile picture), or just an email if you used the magic-link flow.
  • Designs: the prompts you type and the resulting images. These are stored in our database so you can come back to them. Anonymous sessions are keyed by a cookie and auto-deleted after 30 days.
  • Orders: shipping address, phone, and email (for Stripe receipts + Printful tracking emails).
  • Payments: Stripe handles card data. We never see or store your card number — only Stripe's payment-intent ID.

what we send to AI providers

When you generate a design, your prompt is sent to Anthropic Claude (the chat agent) and to Ideogram + OpenAI (image generation). We do not include your name or email in those requests. Their data-use policies apply to that traffic.

cookies

  • viraltee_anon — anonymous session id for free-tier counting (30 days, httpOnly).
  • viraltee_session — signed-in session token (30 days, httpOnly).
No third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

who we share data with

Only the vendors that make the product work: Stripe (payments), Printful (fulfillment), AWS (hosting), Anthropic / OpenAI / Ideogram (design generation), Google (sign-in), Vercel (hosting). We don't sell your data and don't run advertising.

your rights

Email alexanderwburch@gmail.com to download a copy of your data or delete your account. We'll respond within 7 days. Deleting your account removes your designs, storefronts, and order history from our systems (Stripe and Printful records are retained per their own policies and US tax law).

kids

Viraltee is built for ages 13+. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

changes

We'll post updates here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes (collecting new categories of data, new third parties) will also be emailed to registered users.
